Events in the month of September 2019
9/2/2019 - 9/25/2019
The Desert Foothills Gallery, located at 38443 N Schoolhouse Rd., Cave Creek, Arizona will be the site of the Hidden in the Hills Showcase exhibiting works by members of The Sonoran Arts League who will be participating in the 2019 Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour. The exhibition will run from October 3, 2019 to January 23, 2020.

Eligibility:

Open to Sonoran Arts League members who are participating in the 2019 Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour. Many of the visitors who attend the Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour visit this exhibit prior to the tour to get a sneak peek at what will be included on the tour and to decide which studios they want to visit during the tour. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to market your studio and let everyone know where you’ll be for the tour.

For this show we’ll be using videos of each artist talking about their artwork that visitors will be able to access from their mobile devices while viewing the artwork at the gallery. We’ll also be doing multiple social media posts for the individual artists as well as the studios they will be in.  This is quite a bit of free marketing that you’ll want to take advantage of.

Key Dates:

  • Submission Timeframe: September 2, 2019 to September 25, 2019
  • Notice of Acceptance (via email):  September 30, 2019
  • Artwork Delivery Date: October 3, 2019, between 9:30 am and 10:30 am at the Desert Foothills Gallery inside the Desert Foothills Library.
  • Show Dates: October 3, 2019 to January 23, 2020
  • Artist Reception: Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
  • Pick Up Unsold Artwork: January 23, 2020 from 9:15 am to 10:15 am at the Desert Foothills Gallery
