Natalie has been drawing since she was 8 years old. She attended the Arizona School of Art under Director/Artist Jo Rogozen. She later took portrait painting at SCC and while living in Geneva Switzerland she painted with British Artist, Robert Tovey. She lived over seas for 11 years and had 5 exhibitions and 4 one woman shows. The Ambassador to Singapore, J. Stapelton Roy, opened the expo in Singapore. When she retired she took painting from local artist, Eddie Lopez, Robert Lemler, and a workshop from David Leffel and Sherrie McGraw at the Scottsdale Artist's School. She now paints daily in her Scottsdale studio. She has exhibited her paintings in the Gallery at el Pedregal, the Anthem Civic Center exhibitions, the Desert Foothills Gallery exhibitions and in the recently closed Carefree Easy Street Galleria. She also exhibited her paintings at the Treasures in Art Gallery in North Scottsdale until owner Dottie Renneker Retired. She also earned the distinction of a "J" and is a juried artist of the Sonoran Arts League and exhibits in many of the local exhibitions. One of her paintings, Barrel Racer, was chosen to be on the Thursday Night Art Walk poster on Main and Marshall by the Scottsdale Gallery Association. Natalie is a also a member of the American Women Artists, the Portrait Painters of Phoenix, Oil Painters of America and the Arizona Art Alliance. She wrote "The Artist's Loft" for many years for the Peek at the Peak Magazine. |
