About: This un-themed, Members’-only exhibition is designed to showcase work that represents you as an artist and offers the community the chance to purchase and give the artwork as a holiday gift. It is encouraged that items be priced in a "gift-able" range below $300 but it is not required. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the early submission deadline to account for the Thanksgiving holiday and the influx of art festivals, fairs, tours, etc. this time of year we WILL ALLOW pieces to be substituted after the initial application if a piece sells in the interim and is no longer available for the exhibition.

  • Application Deadline: November 14, 2021

  • Artwork Pickup: January 4, 2022

Accepted Artwork:  This exhibit is open to all mediums. 

Call Fees:
  • $30 with 2 volunteer hours* for up to 5 pieces of work submitted.
  • $80 with no volunteer hours for up to 5 pieces of work submitted.
 *Volunteer hours must be completed in the 2021 calendar year with the Sonoran Arts League or be bought out at a rate of $25/hour.

Commission: The Sonoran Arts League retains a 25% commission on all exhibition sales.

Sales: The Sonoran Arts League will make payment of the sale price less the commission (25%) of all sold artwork directly to the artist. If work is purchased by credit card, credit card processing fees will be deducted from the payment to the artist. Checks will be available 10 days following the close of the show.
With the sale of work, the artist is encouraged to bring in new artwork as approved by the League office as replacement for the sold piece.

Display Requirements: Art must be in gallery ready condition and each piece must be well labeled.
  • Pieces with saw-tooth hangers will not accepted.
  • No filament fishing line is acceptable, all mounting systems must be strong enough to support the weight of the artwork.
  • For wall-mounted sculpture, if you require a system other than a standard picture hanger, the artist must provide the hanging system and must either mount the piece and/or supervise the hanging process.  
Selected Works: Artists selected for an exhibition will be given sufficient time to prepare their work and make drop off/delivery arrangements prior to the exhibit date. There is no maximum or minimum number of artists.
All work must be original, unsold work, & the artist must own the sole copyright to art.
Once your artwork is accepted there will be no substitutions and your work must remain in the Center for the Arts through the end of the show or until it sells.
