Jenny began weaving baskets in 2003 after studying Pine Needle Basketry at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. Pine Needle Basketry is a very old art form. Baskets are often handed down from one generation to the next.
At Pine Needle Creations, each basket is a one-of-a-kind creation. Jenny constructs her baskets from gourds, an agate slice, a piece of drift wood, tree bark or even an antler. Each basket base is finished in a crown of intricately woven and colorful pine needles. The creative possibilities are limited only by the imagination.
Jenny?s award winning baskets have been shown in fine are galleries at Tlaquepaque in Sedona, AZ and in Santa Fe, NM and featured in various fine art festivals throughout the United States.
