Sarah was born and raised in Sedona Arizona and as a child spent a lot of time hiking in the red rocks and Kachina Peaks. She also spent a lot of time on the Navajo and Hopi reservations with my mother.
She started acting and singing in community theaters at the age of 7 and attended a multi cultural arts college preparatory school in Sedona. The many treasured experiences Verde Valley School, set the tone for her life as an artist. Starting with acting as her major in college, she ended up nearly going to law school.
?A quick trip to the bead store, started off an unknown passion and though mostly self taught I took some courses in jewelry to learn the skills to find my way into this wonderful craft.?
Sarah?s eclectic jewelry is freeform expressionism and a culmination of her many arts cultural experiences growing up.
?I like to allow people to attach their own meaning(s) when interpreting my art. I take much inspiration from my beautiful southwest surroundings from the high mountains to our gorgeous Sonoran Desert. There is so much diversity and it comes across in my jewelry which has a lot of color, texture and movement.?
Today Sarah resides in both Cave Creek and Prescott with her studio open by appointments in Cave Creek.
