Artist Statement

I have always loved vintage jewelry, especially from the 1940’s and 50’s. I enjoy giving new life to these broken treasures and incorporating them into new designs of my creation. I also work with interesting found objects to produce unique designs. Some of my inspiration comes from the travels with my husband to interesting places around the world.

My love of beautiful things began at an early age, which led me to a college degree in Fashion Management. This career path led me to be a retail Buyer and Manager of 16 stores. During that same time, I taught Fashion Management classes at the Community College. My Art Show experience began with hand-built ceramics. My career transitioned to the Insurance industry where I had a 34-year career, eventually owning my own agency. Now that I am retired, my love of jewelry has been rekindled in creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces from found objects and vintage items.
