Artist Statement

Following a 30 year career in television, I am finally doing what I love to do ~ art.
I am a "Story Teller," and depict life in various mediums. The purpose of my work is to make people smile and just enjoy the light hearted nature of most of my work.
I don't have a favorite medium and use several, however, have been teaching hand building and sculpture in clay for several years and have gravitated that direction. My subject matter always involves animals and/or people and is generally commissioned work.
