Students in this two day class will complete two flowers. The first day will be designing, cutting and arranging the glass to form a flower. The first week the flower pieces will be cut and arranged in preparation for fusing. Once this is done the flowers will be put in a kiln to fuse, then slumped into a mold that will create the flower shape (a total of 48 hours in the kiln). The flower will then be drilled. The second day of class the flower will be assembled to give it a stem and gold or silver paint can be added as an embellishment. Flowers will be ready to take home at the end of the second week.
