About: Western Spirit features original works that celebrate the legacy of the American West and all aspects of life, from ranching and rodeo to landscape and wildlife.

Accepted Artwork: Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Glass, Fiber, Functional, Jewelry, Digital, Photography, Installation, Jewelry, Mixed Media, and New Genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines.
$30 with 2 volunteer hours* for up to 5 images submitted.
$80 with no volunteer hours for up to 5 images submitted.
*Volunteer hours must be completed in the 2021 calendar year with the Sonoran Arts League or be bought out at a rate of $25/hour.
Commission: The Sonoran Arts League retains a 25% commission on all exhibition sales.
Sales: The Sonoran Arts League will make payment of the sale price less the commission (25%) of all sold artwork directly to the artist. If work is purchased by credit card, credit card processing fees will be deducted from the payment to the artist. Checks will be available 10 days following the close of the show.
With the sale of work, the artist is encouraged to bring in new artwork as approved by the League office as replacement for the sold piece.
Display Requirements: Art must be in gallery ready condition and each piece must be well labeled on the back or bottom.
Gallery Ready works include D-rings or screw eyes and wire for paintings.
Pieces with saw-tooth hangers will not accepted.
No filament fishing line is acceptable, all mounting systems must be strong enough to support the weight of the artwork.
For 2D artwork on canvases, artwork must be gallery wrapped or framed.
For wall-mounted sculpture, if you require a system other than a standard picture hanger, the artist must provide the hanging system and must either mount the piece and/or supervise the hanging process.
Selected Works: Artists selected for an exhibition will be given sufficient time to prepare their work and make drop off/delivery arrangements prior to the exhibit date. There is no maximum or minimum number of artists.
All work must be original, unsold work, & the artist must own the sole copyright to art.
Once your artwork is accepted there will be no substitutions and your work must remain in the Center for the Arts through the end of the show or until it sells.
